So, Yule 2015 has been enjoyed and packed away into memory in the form of new gifts, fond memories and overtaxed credit cards. This year was particularly good as my parents came over from Lincolnshire to stay at ours.
We had a great time with both sets of in-laws getting on famously. Inordinate amounts of food and booze were consumed. Much revelry. Essentially, the quintessential Heathen Yule (capitalised for emphasis).
Now that and our birthdays are passed (my wife's birthday is also in January, four days after mine, I return to my studies (online and otherwise) relating to my heathen spiritual path. While I have been on this path for some time (well over a decade officially, but all my life without having a name for it), I don't kid myself that there aren't more things I have yet to learn.
Pagan-Heathen blog centering on UK-based heathenry but also covering wider pagan issues and paths. The site's remit has now been broadened to cover European pre-Christian history and associated spirituality (historic and reconstructed). First and foremost, though, it is a journal of my journey along my pagan path which is gradually evolving toward an animist perspective. The aim is to promote a positive society inspired by the pre-Christian and non-capitalist cultures of the past.
