I am officially declaring this 'Dead Language Weekend'. My intention is to finally embark properly on my quest to learn old norse. As well as being the language of the vikings, it was also an influence on some of the languages in Tolkien's works (can I use this as an excuse to watch The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings back to back? Hmmm...)
